Dear Pet Owners of Greenwich,

Baltimore's loss is unquestionably your gain. The Robinson family wholeheartedly recommends and endorses Misha Mackay, owner of Mutts of Greenwich; in fact, our household in Baltimore will not soon recover from her defection North!

Misha has had the benefit and experience of a long-term association with Walk the Dog, arguably Baltimore's premiere professional pet-care organization, and seems well qualified to launch her own venture in Greenwich.

For the last several years, Misha walked our dogs at least five days a week, bonded with our cats, and housesat on occasion. We have found her to be absolutely reliable, trustworthy, conscientious, and responsible above and beyond- checking on and reporting anything at all untoward, animal-related or not. She has also been responsive and flexible, readily accommodating schedule variations, including last minute changes or requests, special favors and additional duties.

Professional as she is, the traits that endear her most are her cheerfulness, humor, and equanimity. No matter how drenched or hot or cold or busy, she always seemed to be as happy to see our chocolate lab Buddy as he was to see her. A true animal lover, she takes care of her charges and pays close attention to their (and their owners!) individual needs, and idiosyncrasies.

We will all miss her!

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES of MUTTS of GREENWICH? Advantages.html

It has been a true pleasure getting to know Misha through Walk the Dog these past two years.  Her professionalism, reliability, and flexibility have led us to trust her as much as a family member.  In addition to the daily walks, she has been a dependable and responsible pet-sitter while we were out of town.  Misha has taken wonderful care of Zoe & Zeena.  Not only will Misha be greatly missed by Zoe & Zeena, but also by us as she has become a friend.

It’s quite easy to say that Nelson, my shelter rescue, is my family. Many like to say that I saved him but in reality I believe we saved one another. As you can imagine, leaving for work each day is not easy, but knowing that his girlfriend Misha will be coming in the afternoon makes each day a little easier for me.

I never worry on the mornings I leave when I know Misha is coming. She walks him, takes care of his medicines, water and food as needed, gives him his treats and leaves him happy. Most of all, Misha loves Nelson like I do and he loves her back. This is something money cannot buy.

There are not enough words to describe how professional and reliable Misha is. I have a crazy job with a crazier schedule. She always keeps up with me and is always there. Her notes about their walks make me feel a little less guilty when I come home at the end of the day.

We are sad to see Misha leave but know she has much love to spread amongst the doggie world wherever she lands. Please know that your loved one is in excellent and professional hands. Feel free to contact me should you have any questions of concerns.

I love Misha!!!  When I see her coming up to my door, I get so excited!!  I run around in circles and jump up so I can give her kisses on the lips.  She takes me to meet all kinds of nice dogs and nice people.  I even ate turkey with her family on Thanksgiving.

Sometimes my mom works 12 or even a whole 24 hours at a time.  I don't mind too much though, especially when Misha comes to take care of me.  She feeds me and gives me treats and leaves my mom notes about our day.  She gives me the best snuggles ever!!  When I don't feel good, Misha gives me my medicine.  I get itchy a lot and she know just the right spots to scratch!

Misha says that I don't know that I'm a dog.  I'm not a dog, so I'm not sure what she means by that. I'm a princess, and that's how she treats me!

Mom says that Misha moved to Greenwich and that now she'll meet lots of other Frenchies.  I hope she doesn't forget me, because I'll never forget her. I'm feeling sad now... I have to go take a nap.

Kisses!

Misha Mackay was a wonderful asset to Walk the Dog Baltimore for almost 3 years. In the time that she was a member of the Walk the Dog team, I came to rely on Misha's experience, professionalism, consistency and reliability. She was my right hand lady and my go-to for advice of all kinds. She treats every pup she meets as if it were her own. I trusted her with my pups and home while I was out of town and was so pleased. Rambo and Maevis miss their best buddy Misha and so do I!

More to Come!

Being new to Greenwich from Los Angeles, I was very concerned with finding a new dog walker for Iona.  I was so thankful when I found Misha!  As soon as we met I knew we'd be a fit...I had a pretty good feeling that Iona would love her too.  I'm a little obsessed with my dog and do things like put her in shoes and coats in the winter and raincoats in the rain...I wasn’t sure how a stranger would react to being asked to do the same...but Misha didn’t bat an eye!  She has an ease with Iona and I love coming home to find a new little note about the days walk...at this point, when the tail goes down as I get ready to leave my apartment, I only have to say "Don’t worry, Misha's coming today" for the tail give a little wag...

We've been with Misha for about 7 months now and I feel completely assured with her care.  In fact, one day I was concerned that Iona didn’t feel well but forgot to leave a note for Misha letting her know...to my surprise she called me at work on her own to let me know the same.  In the end, Iona was fine, but her calling let me know just how well she knows her clients...and how much she cares for their well-being!

We love Misha!

My name is Leo and I love going for walks (except when it is raining). When my human decided to move to Greenwich from Baltimore, I was sad to say good-bye to all my dog friends.  But guess what? I didn’t have to say good-bye to my dog walker! That’s because Misha, founder of Mutts of Greenwich, was my dog walker in Baltimore – for 4 years! I’m thrilled that she is taking care of me in my new home.  Misha always looks out for me – telling my mom when my bum hip is bothering me or giving me a belly rub at the end of our walk.

The girls of the Mutts of Greenwich team are the best dog walkers around. Over the years, I have had four different dog walkers take care of my Jack Russell, Rummy, and Mutts of Greenwich has been by far the best. Misha treats Rummy like her own, and takes the time to leave me notes about his activities that day while I was away at work. She truly loves dogs, and goes out of her way to keep them happy and having fun. Her rates are reasonable, she is incredibly flexible with scheduling, and is very accommodating to last minute requests. I wholeheartedly recommend Mutts of Greenwich!
